Okay, I'll admit, that's a story that trumps a lot I've heard, and I've heard a lot. I think you'd be a good actor, just from a few minutes with you. I'm starting to think you're even more complicated than I thought moments before. You didn't go out there and become a pirate alone. You liked the state, which means you like people and watch eyes on you. You need an audience in some way or another. So I doubt you were alone. And it takes a strong man to fight immortals, whether they're gods or spirits or something else. Toppling empires makes you noble, especially since I suspect you might have been involved. Comes as an easy read with the whole idea of 'power-hungry gits' and toppling someone.
