Nothing terrible or tragic here (largely because the screens are not portraying any of the more catastrophic events, like people catching fire) just good wholesome PG-13 romance. He'll spare Peter the moritifcation on sitting on his love seat (which is naturally in the shape of an enormous pink heart) and gestures to the chair. And he'll graciously share his popcorn.
But it may be clear that he's not doing this just because he wants to see people fall in love. He keeps glancing at what appears to be an ordinary (also heart shaped) hourglass and frowning.
