"That's crazy," Peter says. "There's stuff I think I'd rather just forget about." He means that, too, especially considering what he's been through recently. "But on the other hand, some of that stuff seems really useful. Just on the daily. Or for passing tests and stuff."

Peter doesn't find anything about Bart scary or intimidating, of course. He finds him…well, cute. And he wants to be around him more than before, for whatever reason. He's an analytical person, but he can't seem to hold on to any real reasoning about why he feels so drawn to Bart at the moment, so he rolls with it. He hasn't just been around someone and gotten to enjoy it without complications or someone trying to murder them in awhile.

"Oh, man, I can always eat a burger. This isn't New York or anything, but there's gotta be a good diner or something."
