The most frustrating thing was of course that David didn't need to look at his phone. It would just ping his glasses. And yet here he was, checking.
"No it's not," he said, instantly defensive. "He's just not experienced with technology and I want to give him more assistance getting here if he needs it."
But since Bart was saying it, David sighs and puts his phone down, picking up his cup of tea again to sip it.
"For the purposes of what we're doing today, he's apparently a bit of a pirate back home. But a noble sort. And interested in privacy as well."
