[ Tim forged the signature. He’s quite good at it, actually, having started with Jack and Dana’s signatures for sick notes. He can do all of his family and most of the Titans. He also memorized everyone’s blood types. Never know what you’re going to need.

But he’s not giving up the methodology.

It isn’t a citizenship change. Starfallen don’t have citizenship by default in this world, even if they came from another version of same country that they arrived in.

[ There’s case law. He won’t quote it.

Who does that? Tim has no idea who else would try this stunt. Emigration had been suggested by Frances Starling, and Tim sees the sense in it. At the very least, to try and arrange it preemptively, because it would be too late to start the slow process by the time it was needed. Kon wouldn’t have let him - he’d see it as a coward’s move.

He’s not engaging the rhetorical questions. There’s no answer for why he has to say it. Doesn’t bother denying fishing for the responses, either - Kon is right and has the proof in his hands.

But Tim isn’t sorry.

Having citizenship doesn’t mean you have to live there. It has nothing to do with you as a roommate.

[ If he can quietly wait out the anger and take the lecture, maybe he can get Kon to see the light. ]
