"Out of this world, as the saying goes?" He can't help but wonder at the wording, just given that someone from another country would probably give the name of that country. And while other worlds sound crazy, Bucky himself isn't from here. He wouldn't have believed it if it hadn't happened to him.

They're nearly to the front if the line though, so instead of pursuing it further where they can be overheard, Bucky shifts conversation to the weather. "At least the sun's out today, though I don't suppose that means much this time of year. Sunny and warm one day, a foot of snow the next."

Boring, but no one wants to eavesdrop on conversations about the weather.
