Diana's gaze drops to the pastries, and her eyes go wide. She reaches in to take one--some kind of apple-cinnamon confection--and takes an experimental bite. She almost gasps. "It's so sweet!" She's eaten sweets before, but processed sugar is new to her. This is far sweeter than the ice cream she got in London. She takes a second, bigger bite, and has to spend some time chewing and swallowing before she can say anything else. "Is this what people normally eat here?"
