"Not necessarily," Six stated. "In my world, most of the EVOs are feral. Those that aren't typically cause trouble or do everything they can to fly under the radar. Other than Rex and the monkey, Providence is manned by normal humans who have to go up against those feral or troublemaking EVOs who could have any number of powers without any.

"Having powers makes it easier -- Rex proves that -- but a well-trained and well-armed squad can be effective against lower-level threats. For the higher-level ones, their first priority is to corral the threat while the civilians are evacuated from the area and for the more elite teams -- such as Rex and I -- to step in. Recruits know they're likely to die out there, but they keep signing up regardless."
