"Well, they're made of Speed Force energy, but it's the side-effect of getting hit with something meant to give normal folks superspeed. It drove most of them insane, so I tried to stop it. They're like....automata, I create them with specific things to do, like protect this area and the civilians, or evac that building, or even get me a jelly doughnut, and then when I'm done with them, I absorb it all back, and I remember what they've done, so I can use them for, well, scouting, too," Bart explained. It's not something he's really looked too deeply into.

"Too many is a strain, and if one is killed...well, the energy rebounds. I try not to think about those parts. Or send them into situations that are completely out of control."
