[ ... You know what, this conversation doesn't need to take place over fire escapes. Doreen holds up a finger to say 'just a minute', ducks inside to grab her coat (it's adult!Doreen's coat, so she's absolutely swimming in the thing)... and once she's back outside, she crouches down and takes a flying leap onto Jason's fire escape. ]

My mom says I should wait 'til I graduate high school to try it.
