[He nods his head in affirmation. His expression is deeply sympathetic because he knows how hard they probably were trying to save everyone.]

[And the image of Darius still on the ground, unable to wake up, poisoned light etching up his arm just like it was doing to Hunter, is still deeply ingrained in his mind.]

Luz and the others are alive. And the ceremony was stopped but not by any of us. The...the child did it. The weird...spirit? Or something? That Luz and I saw Belos talking to about the Day of Unity in his memories. The one he called the Collector.

Somehow they got free, killed Belos, and then stopped the ceremony. They were so powerful. Belos was nothing to them. They started ripping the palace apart. We had to escape from them, through the portal door to the human realm. Belos had been...reconstructing it.

[His expression grow even softer because he knows from things Luz has said that King is Eda's son.]

King...didn't come with us. The child has him, but...they at least seemed to not want to hurt him. He was alive when we last saw him but we couldn't get back to him. After we went through it the door was gone.

That's when I was pulled here, to this version of the human realm.

[He shakes his head.]

We saw the draining spell stop but we didn't get to see if it was in time.

[His expression changes from troubled to something slightly more hopeful.]

But it's at least not all hopeless. I'm alive.

[He holds up his right arm, which fortunately isn't the one that was shot. It's the arm with his coven mark.]

It was killing me, just like everyone else, but I was still alive when it stopped. So it might mean that everyone else survived, too.
