Even as Angie stares down at the counter, trying to think of the best way to come clean about how she knows what her beloved wife gets up to on those nights when they're not home together, she can't help but smile at Karen's constant compliments.

"Yes, I work every day to keep the country safe." A soft, exhaled sigh. "But I've heard tell of a new heroine who's keeping the city safe... They're calling her 'Power Lass.'"

Her eyes flick up towards the stove, watching Karen closely for any reaction.
