[Having to explain things requires brainpower he does not have to spare at the moment.

Donnie does glance at Leo, but unlike Accelerator, he doesn't otherwise seem inclined to make the effort to try dragging himself awake. If his input is needed, he'll try, but for the moment, he closes his eyes again.
