Luckily, while Jason was never an official 'soldier', he'd definitely refer to himself as one of Bats' little soldiers--and he's worked with mercs plenty of times in the past. He'll be playing up the part of some asshole who just wants to be part of whatever they're in. Not an overly clever asshole, but one who isn't stupid either.
He'll (gently) ask about the dreamers a little more, see if he can get a name associated with them. But more than that, he'll dig to see if he can join their little posse. He's handy, he's Starfallen, he knows a good chunk of the ones who are currently present, too. And if they want to get on the Starfallen's good side to get them into Arcadia, someone who knows what they want is just the right person to go with for some helpful tips. Right?
He'll also be taking a look around Arcadia, careful not to get caught snooping--but on the lookout for anything telling about how it operates, who created it, any notable symbols that might mean something--like the one the guards have on their uniforms. Or anyone who may be working to add onto it/complete it. An architect might have some good insider information that Jason could use to figure out what's going on with it, too.
