You make it sound like it's not that common where you're from.

[Granted, people don't dimension hop to go grocery shopping or whatever where he's from, but it's common enough that "parallel dimension" is an acceptable answer when trying to figure out weird shit, even when said person isn't actually from a parallel dimension.]
