He gives the kid a long suffering look while he monologues. There's so many things he's tempted to say. Like, how hard it is to simply believe anyone who calls themselves Loki. Instead he slowly, methodically, lights a cigar and plucks it from between his teeth to speak.
"I just wanna make sure hitting you is fair game."
He takes a drag of that cigar and restores his patience with it. Being Loki's favourite anything can be taxing.
"Better than lettin' you out of my sight I guess. I thought if I could find the source of these spectres it could be... I dunno. Blocked off? I didn't drive to Sunset Falls to spend the weekend stabbing familiar faces."
