"Gotcha. Hang on." She loops an arm around his waist, bends down for a moment, and takes a flying 30-foot leap straight onto the roof of the high school. Doreen lands in a crouch, and immediately lets go of Logan to sit back on her heels and catch her breath. The roof is a mercifully ghost-free area, and while it doesn't get them closer to the exit, it at least gives them a better vantage point to see the exit.
"Okay, first of all, are you hurt? Don't give me any of that healing factor stuff, I know you heal up pretty quickly, but pain is pain and disinfectant is still a thing, I could... I dunno, punch through the roof, there's probably a nurse's station in there somewhere..." Doreen takes a deep breath, because this next question has the potential to be a doozy. "Second, who the heck is Jeannie-ghost?"
