That's a point Donnie's all too aware of. He'd hoped to get Leo to that door before that huge thing had seen them. At least Accelerator had managed to help them all out then.

Leo had told him he'd had trouble sleeping when he'd first arrived, and even if he still doesn't quite know exactly what his brother had to endure, might still have to endure, Donnie unfortunately has a better idea of how bad something can be that it'd keep you from wanting to sleep at night.
