This isn't going that far, though. Right now all Jason has done is nail down a chunk of his situation. He hasn't done anything else. Accelerator is suspicious, though. His back isn't up against the wall quite yet, but he doesn't enjoy being called out and his default reaction to that is hostility for the exact reason Jason has pointed out. People suck, chances are they want something out of him if they're being kind, so it's easier to reject them right away.
