Unfortunately it isn't. My family has some kind of ancient ninpō thing going for it and it's all mystic energy that's tied to us and our clan.

I've never really been that great with understanding magic- my dominion is more technical. So once I found out I had this kind of ability, I was able to just apply it to what I know, hence my mystic-tech.
