Upon seeing Donnie's deer-in-headlights expression, Accelerator straightens back up. He needs to think about this for a second, and he doubts hovering too much is going to help the situation.
He can't very well just walk away. Even if this isn't Donnie, this is clearly some small turtle-child that needs an adult. This is the kind of kid that shouldn't be wandering around Central on his own, because there's a chance some sketchy adult could scoop him up. He should try calling Leo, though waiting around for who knows how long with the kid under a bus bench isn't a good idea either. Ugh, maybe he should just kick the bench over and grab him, but he'd probably start freaking out.....
