The stairs aren't exactly safe, which is why they haven't been encouraging anyone else to go up them. But Leo himself isn't too worried - he's survived worse things than falling down some stairs, so it'll be fine! Probably!

He makes his way up slowly, not because he's scared(!), but maybe because someone is up there and he doesn't want to walk right into a trap. But as he reaches the next floor, things are dark and deserted, just as he would have expected.

...Well, except for the light that appears about ten feet away. It looks almost like a candle flame, but they definitely didn't put any candles up here.
