With Dylan helping to regulate Tim's body and keeping it functioning, he's coming back to some kind of balance. There's still a brain injury in there, and his vitals aren't as strong as they could be, but he's not crashing on the verge of death anymore. If Dylan removes himself, he might not wake up immediately, but there's a strong chance he'll be okay.
