"There's a lot of options," Otto agrees. People who lost loved ones on that day, and don't like seeing it be turned into a sideshow. People who knew and cared for Starstruck himself.

Altogether, though, he thinks the latter most likely. Another metahuman would be most likely to have some sort of prior knowledge of this whole thing. "But at the least, it must have been someone who knew that VR exhibition was being planned. They didn't program that entire virus today."

Granted, there's an awful lot of teen prodigies around here. But Otto would be very impressed if someone showed up at the expo, saw that thing, and whipped out such a complex little bug in a matter of hours.
