He, in fact, thought about leaving on five distinct occasions, including when he saw the ornate building that he can't afford to donate to in person, when he marked the smooth skill of the staff, and at least three of the guests made him think twice about attending due to their dress and/or behavior - or because he recognized them.
But it's a solid, open invitation to all Metahumans, and he doubts that those kinds of invitations are going to come around that often. Besides, he already bought the suit. Money only grows on trees for now.

Or worse, their friend who can't even manage to open their mouth for a vowel sound and the laughter is only a hm, hm, hm.
He can still people watch from the balcony, leaning backwards against the railing, but Tim's going to stay out here for a few minutes to get some air, as they say. ]
