[ if you're by the pool you'll find Thor there on occasion-- not at all bothered by his eyepatch or metal arm as he lays by the pool (he's broken one deckchair already) reading whatever gossipy magazines are around.

the restaurant is somewhere else he'll be often found, consuming as much food as the kitchen staff are willing to produce. it's nothing on Asgardian fare, but Thor won't hold it against them. the whole roast pig is well cooked, and he'll happily share it with anyone else who's around and looks hungry or just like they want to talk

he's also available in his rooms -- both to visitors who he's invited up, or to other new arrivals who might accidentally have been assigned to as well? sorry you'll probably walk in on him in just a towel after a shower but that's fine. ]

[ joke's on you, all lokis are his lokis. thor's a fool like that

and while if this were the brother he's more familiar with he'd simply throw him in the pool for being dramatic, there's something in this one's tone that thor can relate to. all those months without mjolnir where he'd felt-- known that he was less than nothing.

he looks out across the pool, then up at the sky ]

[ loki crosses his arms. lets his gaze wander. he's never felt worthy. dying makes me feel less. but he knows that his death was still a victory. he faced up to the monster. he owned up to what he was.

and he saved thor. no one can take that from him. ]

[ thor looks at his drink a moment and then finishes it all at once. he can't helping thinking of the other one-- the older loki. he's still his brother. still loki. even despite everything thor hadn't been able to kill him for what he'd done to the child.

he needs to decide what to do about that. but another time. ]
