This is almost worse than her mom, who, while genuinely awesome and supportive, lives in another country and expresses her concern about Doreen's life choices, grades, and superhero career through weekly phone calls, which are all easier to handle than actual in your face concern! (Nevermind that Doreen isn't used to concern from anyone but her close friends and family, she's ridiculously competent, that's her whole thing - why would anyone worry about her?)

... God, what if Otto unzips his head, and it's actually just Maureen Green wearing a supervillain suit inside? What if Maureen Green shows up here, and Doreen just gets double-teamed by both of them? The nightmare scenario!! She's kinda freaking out a bit! ]

Hey, I'm good, I promise! There's nothing to worry about, no burning out, no ominous-sounding 'or worse'. I've taken down Galactus, Thanos, and Dr. Doom multiple times, and I'm just now realizing that you don't know who any of those guys are, but they're big deals, and I've survived a lot worse than them! It's fine, everything's fine and under control, eventually I'll pick up classes where they left off, and everything will be great forever!
