Peter is grateful for Stephen's just...presence. Not his physical presence, not the rescue, but what he always brings with him. He's pragmatic in a way Peter cannot and will not ever be. He's a great person to have in a crisis (which this isn't, not in the same way it could be). He just gets shit done!

The downside to the whole computer talking thing is that it's too easy to get sucked into it. He learned that in the simulation. Today has not been better in that regard.
