[ Much has happened, of late. Central City is not as safe for unaligned metahumans as it once was (if it was ever). Angela spends her days working at Ascendant, serving as bouncer at night, fulfilling her back room contracts when they come in. This leaves her days largely free to do with as she pleases.

Currently, what she aims to do is to check in with her brothers, to ensure that they are all faring alright. And so, she texts each of them in turn. ]

Brother. I would speak with you. Shall we meet for coffee?

I shall add to your lessons in texting etiquette that no one enjoys receiving a message along the lines of "we need to talk".

But seeing as you are my sister and I hopefully know the simple meaning you intend, yes.

I see.

Then, let me apologize to you by treating you to a milkshake. I merely want to catch up.

I'll allow it. Would you want to meet in Sunset Falls?

[hevenly]

I can meet you in Sunset Falls, if you know of a suitable place.

I know several, plus search engines do exist.

Are you implying that you wish for me to choose the place?

No, only teasing! :)

[He sends a pin of an ice cream parlor close to Stephen's house.]

Very well.

[ It is a testament to how much Loki has taught her of how to use her phone that she is able to open the pin and derive the location indicated therein. ]

Shall we meet in an hour?

[thecoolerloki]

See you then, dear sister.

[He's waiting outside for her when the time comes. Since she is paying, and it feels weird to go inside and just stand there and not buy anything yet.]

Shall we commence the catching up?

[hevenly]

[ She greets him with a smile, and holds the door open for him. ]

See that you do. I do not have all day. [ A cheeky glance down at him. ] So many other brothers to catch up with.

But I'm the most interesting brother you have.

[He grins back and enters, heading straight to the counter like a kid who's getting a prize for acing a test. Obviously, he orders a milkshake, and he makes it one of those completely over the top ones that include a slice of cake as decoration. Since Angela's paying. And catching up with him is worth a lot.

Loki looks to her expectantly, curious to see what she'll order.]

You may assure yourself of that.

[ She orders two scoops of cookies and cream in a waffle cone. Simple, yet indulgent. The server hands them their orders, and Angela pays in cash. ]

Shall we sit and talk?

[thecoolerloki]

Let's!

[They make their way over to a nearby table, Loki making sure that none of his elaborate shake falls apart.]

What did you wish to discuss?

[hevenly]

[ Angela takes the time to take the first lick of her ice cream before answering Loki's question, savoring the taste of the icy treat. ]

Tell me, what have you been up to? I trust— No... Perhaps it would be unwise to say I trust you have stayed out of trouble. But I trust the trouble you have found yourself in was relatively harmless?

I would very much enjoy that, yes. I've been very fond of a little place, shall I send you the address?

And, just to be clear, you're not dumping me are you?

Please do, I will meet you there.

[ It takes a few weeks for Loki to reply, strangely. ]

Whatever it was, I didn't do it. But yes to coffee.

[ She'll wait. She knows he'll respond, eventually. ]

I did not think to blame you for anything. But I am glad to know you are blameless, all the same.

Shall we meet at that place on 4th and Broadway?

[Thor's public appearances have been sporadic as he seemingly flits between being the usual, outgoing and heroic Thor and the withdrawn Thor that wants to play video games with Korg.

But he's not too far gone, because he seems aware enough that he's marinating in his feelings and he sends a text blast.]

Hello. What have you been up to? Me? Not much. Drinks?

[Aside from this meagre attempt to reach out, he can be found in Loki's apartment loitering around or attempting to half-ass homemaking (much to Loki's distress). When he's out and about, it's usually for coffee and he usually looks a little scraggly which has probably resulted in attracting a certain niche of hippy people who want him to try almond milk in his lattes and yoga in the park.

The lattes he's not getting behind, but the yoga is..intriguing. Thor can also be found dropping into a downward dog or doing sun salutations out in the grass, but he's not sure if he's actually enjoying it.]

[ Loki doesn't reply at first. Not for hours, days, then weeks. And then: ]

[ Loki disappears. His phone doesn't work, he can't be magically traced, and for all intents and purposes he vanishes for a few weeks following Billy's lead. The apartment stays this time, however, and can be accessed by his family if they want to enter (no key needed for the favoured few) but it's unlived-in aside from when Peter comes and goes.
