He's just as surprised as her when the wall of noise shatters the quiet night. Again, he follows Chris in the dark as he wants to see what she'll do as a vigilante. Now is the perfect time. His eyes are also in the direction of the vault. It sounds like the robber's scrambling to grab as much cash.
It takes maybe a minute or two before a man in a trenchcoat, shades, and speakers all over his outfit runs out and reveals himself. He yelps when he sees Chris already in the lobby and instinctively shoots another sonic boom from his suit.

"You're, um, under arrest!"
Chris didn't know if she had the authority to arrest someone yet, but it seemed like the thing to say...
no subject
"And you're going under!"
He fires another sound attack, this time at the ceiling and above Chris.
Meanwhile, just outside of the building, Jason barely got out of the way of the criminal's sonic boom. The attack hit a closed storefront and shattered its windows. More alarms are going off. For now Jason's continuing to watch but he's growing more concerned about collateral damage. Some of the buildings in the area are businesses mixed with apartments above. He hopes the new meta can end this soon.

In a flash, she deploys her reflectors, creating a barrier which protects her as debris rains down. Though, this ends up giving the thief a moment of respite, likely a good chance to take off. Chris realizes this mistake, and quickly reacts, looking at his previous position.

The criminal flees right after dropping the ceiling on Chris. Just as he's about to run pass a dark alleyway, Jason clotheslines him.
"Ugh!"
The criminal hits the ground with a thud.

"Who the heck?!" she exclaims; she's grateful, but she hasn't expected anyone to just show up.
The criminal meanwhile, lays on the ground, dazed.

"Some of these people are trying to sleep you know," he drawls.
Then he looks back at Chris.
"Hi. I heard a noise complaint."
no subject
"Who are you?" she demanded. "Another hero? Or..."

"So, who gonna help me bring this guy in?" she demanded after a moment, more than a little presumptuously.

"Well, you can always call the cops you if want," he replies in a casual tone. He also offers a pair of zip ties. "Occasionally Central's cops are useful with hauling bodies."
no subject
"...Please tell me you're not the type to mysteriously disappear into the night after doing a small bit to help. Because I need someone to check and see if there's anyone else prowling around."
no subject
"New to the city then? Don't have eyes in the back of your head?" He replies jokingly. "But yeah, sure. I might stick around for a little younger."
no subject
So yes.
"...But either way, thanks."

"Lucky for you that you weren't alone then. They're metas too?"

She finishes with the zip ties.
"Speaking of which, what do I call you?"

"I'm my own huntsman too if I ever get lost on my way to grandma's house, Ichaival."
no subject
"I see you're carrying. What kind of pistols are those?"
no subject
"Jericho 941s. Nothing too fancy but they usually get the job done," he replies. His arsenal is large enough that he's free to switch to whatever type of handguns he wanted. A vigilante with a reputation like his needed the variety, lest he be too easy to identify. Tonight just happened to be a Jericho mood.
"I've never seen your gear before."
