[ Much like Loki's last party-venture, this is set up very much in the same vein. a large ballroom for dancing needs. Tables and waiters passing around hors d'oeuvres and drinks. At the entrance of the ball room, there’s a fancy mask waiting for you if you don’t have one already. There’s a strict dress code for the event this time and Loki expects everyone to dress accordingly.

The masks also have a spell attached to them. They’ll afford you complete privacy. No one will recognize you under the mask. Unless, of course, you take it off and let them know. Perfect for the party guest who may want to indulge without causing a fuss. Hit up a partner and see where the evening takes you.

This event wouldn’t be complete without candy, of course. There are candies arranged on the tables in all types and colors. In front of them is a small description regarding each kind of candy. Be sure to read them carefully, as Loki has added a little . . . extra to the sweets, to give them a little . . . zing. ]

☀️ A Good Start

( who's under the nice suit and wildly ornate mask? the world may never know. unless, of course, they ask. then eddie's glad to lift the mask and offer a smile.

the combination might be the nicest thing he's ever owned, but it's a costume party, so eddie felt like he had to step up to the standards. for all it's glitz, though, eddie isn't able to shake the itch beneath his collar. that's annoying, but probably temporary. )

Cool, huh? I can't see too well in it, but... I dunno, it looks neat. So sacrifices, am I right?

( plus eddie can rely on venom to faithfully guide him around the party. venom's in a good enough mood, so he can trust that vee probably won't run him into walls on purpose. )

And, hey, check this out.

( eddie turns into venom and, miraculously, the costumes sizes up rather than being swallowed by goo, so venom gets to enjoy the costume, too! )

🍫 Chocolate

( chocolate is always a stop on eddie's roadmap when it comes to events like this. loki always has the best caterers, and venom on a full stomach is always way more tolerable than a hungry venom, so their plate is piled high with all kinds of fancy candies that are leagues above the hershey bars they buy in bulk from their local grocer. )

Feels sorta like I'm getting sick, ( he says aloud, feeling the need to get it off his chest. with his mask on, it's a ✨ magical mystery ✨ as to who the person addressing you at present is. ) Might just be allergies, though. Like the air around here is different than in Kansas, where we live... You ever have a sneeze that won't come out? Along with the inexplicable urge to eat trash?

Like those two feelings combined?

🥂 More Chocolate
A/N: Since Eddie is sorta taken at the moment, I don't think anything too scandalous will happen with this prompt unless you're Ripley (or Diana but, wow, is that going to be a messy house meeting). Otherwise, I imagine Eddie will just excuse himself to go take a nap in the parking lot if things start to feel risqué.

( it's weird that after eating chocolate, his stomach feels worse, but maybe he just needs more chocolate. in his experience, more chocolate means fewer chances of people getting eaten, which is always a good thing. he can never have enough of it. so, eddie's stuffing his face with alcoholic chocolates in an effort to curb whatever disaster comes along with a hungry venom, even though venom is insisting that it's not him.

candy chocolate? he's eating that.
alcohol chocolate? he's chugging it.
and because that chocolate stout is actually really good, he's chugging it double. )

Wow, is it hot in here? You think more chocolate will, y'know, cool things down? I've got this thing... with this alien... it's like being on a keto diet, but instead of keto it's just chocolate. So, nothing like a keto diet, now that I'm thinking about it.
