[ Much like Loki's last party-venture, this is set up very much in the same vein. a large ballroom for dancing needs. Tables and waiters passing around hors d'oeuvres and drinks. At the entrance of the ball room, there’s a fancy mask waiting for you if you don’t have one already. There’s a strict dress code for the event this time and Loki expects everyone to dress accordingly.

The masks also have a spell attached to them. They’ll afford you complete privacy. No one will recognize you under the mask. Unless, of course, you take it off and let them know. Perfect for the party guest who may want to indulge without causing a fuss. Hit up a partner and see where the evening takes you.

This event wouldn’t be complete without candy, of course. There are candies arranged on the tables in all types and colors. In front of them is a small description regarding each kind of candy. Be sure to read them carefully, as Loki has added a little . . . extra to the sweets, to give them a little . . . zing. ]

Uh, maybe a table? A table could be good?

[ and that's easy enough for ripley, who has finding powers. he can locate a nice table, close enough for food, but not so crowded and bustling. ]

[frenchkissed]

( finding chocolate is easy enough for eddie, too. within minutes, he's sitting beside ripley with a plate piled high with white chocolate squares and two bottles of chocolate beer — which honestly sounds a little gross — clutched in venom's friendly tentacles. )

White chocolate is sort of like milk chocolate, right?

[exasperation]

[ he's not that picky, he's just happy to be here. with eddie. he blushes a little. ]

( eddie's happy to be here, too. don't worry. )

Coming out here was a good idea, ( he says between bites of chocolate which he's totally helping himself to. ) But... y'know, sometimes I just worry that I'm taking you too far out of your comfort zone. Like, by force. And that's a shitty thing to do... which makes it a shitty feeling to, like, feel.

[exasperation]

[ ripley blinks. ]

What? No. You definitely don't do that. If anything, it's kind of a good thing?

[ his expression softens. ]

[ ripley tentatively reaches for eddie's hand. ]

( eddie holds it eagerly! less tension, more smiles. )

I guess we could ask a kid.

No, because if I'm misusing that word, I don't think I could handle being corrected.

Yeah, that's fair. Kids are brutal.

Y'know, as a former kid, I take offense.
And as a former kid, you should, too.

I dunno, I'm kind of glad to put my kid years behind me.

You couldn’t just re-locate them?

Not always. It only works if I touch things and if I zap them away, I have to find them again.

And that doesn't work if you accidentally zap your neighbour's dog to California.
