[ Much like Loki's last party-venture, this is set up very much in the same vein. a large ballroom for dancing needs. Tables and waiters passing around hors d'oeuvres and drinks. At the entrance of the ball room, there’s a fancy mask waiting for you if you don’t have one already. There’s a strict dress code for the event this time and Loki expects everyone to dress accordingly.

The masks also have a spell attached to them. They’ll afford you complete privacy. No one will recognize you under the mask. Unless, of course, you take it off and let them know. Perfect for the party guest who may want to indulge without causing a fuss. Hit up a partner and see where the evening takes you.

This event wouldn’t be complete without candy, of course. There are candies arranged on the tables in all types and colors. In front of them is a small description regarding each kind of candy. Be sure to read them carefully, as Loki has added a little . . . extra to the sweets, to give them a little . . . zing. ]

[ Jayce is dressed in a style that would be normal in Piltover to wear even on your average day, so he thinks that the dragon costume Sperhiroth is wearing is far more interesting. ]

I'd say you've been successful. It's my first too, I arrived here only a few weeks ago, I'm still learning about the customs and holidays. [ Jayce offers him a hand before introducing himself properly. ] I'm Jayce Talis, nice to meet you. Are magic holidays common in all parties?

[There's nothing average about either of their costumes to Sephiroth, who is accustomed to "dressing up" being... businessmen in suits.

And he's getting much better about handshakes, because there's only a slight pause before he accepts it.]

And I imagine magic is common to parties that Loki hosts, but as for Earth itself... Most don't seem to have a great familiarity with it.

[ In that case, Jayce usual academy clothes combined with his white and gold coat could remind Sephiroth of his world, if he ever sees Jayce outside the party again. The pause is not long enough for Jayce to feel awkward, but he also doesn't hold onto the other man's hand more than necessary, just in case Sephiroth is not all that comfortable with touching. ]

It's a pleasure to meet you, Sephiroth. Loki...I have yet to meet our gracious host. Is he some sort of mage?

[ There's genuine interest in Jayce's voice. He's been practically obsessed with magic since he was nine years old, despite the society he grew up in being mostly fearful and wary of it. ]

I'm not from Earth either, but from Runeterra. I don't suppose you might have heard of it before?

[Sephiroth considers that.]

To call him that feels somewhat inadequate. He is a god, he's had quite a long time to learn it.

[Magic is cool, this is an appropriate attitude.]

I've not heard of Runeterra. My Planet is sometimes called Gaea.

A God? With capital G, as in, a deity?

[ Sephiroth might notice Jayce's eyes widen behind the mask, trying to process this information. There are plenty of deities in his world, of course, but he's not aware of them roaming the earth. ]

I, uhm..in my world, those stick to the Spirit or Celestial realm. I wasn't aware that we had such important people in this world. What is he like? As for Gaea, that's the first time I heard about it either, sorry.

[Sephiroth tilts his head, not following the capitalization reference.]

A deity, yes. And the "gods" of my world seem to be little more than anthropomorphized magic, but he is very much a person. He's quite insightful.

I think he would be pleased to be considered "such an important person."
