What: Jason’s been deaged back to his early Robin years. Antics ensue. Also contains one special closed prompt
When: January 3rd-4thish, during the age swap event
Where: Central City

[Somewhere in Central City is a small boy in a red, yellow, and green costume. It’s hard to forget someone in a colorful suit like that.

That is, assuming you can catch a good enough look at him. He’s effortlessly using his grappling gun and parkour skills to swing around and jump rooftops. You might see him as he tries to get a lay of the land.

Alternatively, you might see him fearlessly (or recklessly, depending on how you look at it) pounce right on top of a would-be armed mugger. He might not know where he is but that doesn’t mean he’s going to stop fighting crime. It’s what any good sidekick would do.]

Attic Safehouse above the Descendant Bar (Closed to people who use the safehouse)

[Later that night, Robin is exhausted but isn’t ready to trust just any place to rest for the night. For now, he’s just perched on top of the Descendant, near the attic window]

It sounds like it wasn't that long ago that you left the hotel so whoever uses it probably hasn't cleaned it up yet.

[ There's a sort of thwump as Tim misses a rung and ends up full-body bumping the ladder. Never in any real danger of falling, with both hands and a foot safe, but it's a good lesson about not getting surprised on fire escapes. ]

It's Tim.

[ Maybe Jason doesn't pay attention to Bruce Wayne's friends' kids' names? Tim only knows the ones that his parents make him play with - the only reason he knows Jason is because he knows Bruce Wayne is Batman, that his first ward was the first Robin, and that the second Robin is therefore likely to be his newly adopted son, Jason Todd.

AKA, the boy who is, for once, following Tim, instead of the other way around. ]

[Jason pretends that he doesn't recognize the family name. He's heard of the Drakes but Jason's been much more interested in his Robin training than Bruce's civilian friends, the ones who don't know what he's the Caped Crusader. He does remember hearing that the Drakes have a boy younger than him though]

Nice to meet you, Tim! You okay there?

I'm okay.

[ He's already started moving again and won't have anymore trouble on the way down, not even when he reaches the end of the ladder and has to dangle and drop down to the ground.

Tim really doesn't want to go back, but, if Robin needs more information, well... there's not another choice unless Tim lets him go alone. Leaving Tim alone. He's normally fine with that, but the idea feels bad. ]

[Jason wants to keep reassuring Tim that everything will turn out okay. It's a scary enough situation as it is. Plus, Batman always finds a way. It's just a matter of time.

Once they're both of the ground, Jason sticks close to Tim and takes the lead]

Good. I'll protect you, okay? I promise.

[ Tim nods. It’s obvious, but reassuring anyway. He’s so lucky to have come across Robin. He’s not going to wander off now. This is the safest place to be: with Robin. Even if it means going back to the creepy motel until something better comes along. Maybe they’ll see the Mad Hatter. ]
