OPEN | It's Raining Skyfallen
Who: Six
sixthdeadliest, OPEN
What: This time, the Convergence is dumping people in Little Love where Six has set up shop. Time to meet the new neighbors.
When: January, all-month
Where: Little Love, Kansas for most of the month. One prompt is in Central City, Michigan.
Content Warnings: Should be fine. Will update as needed.
[January 3rd - 10th: Little Love, Kansas (De-Aged)]
Six was rather irritated that he'd been transformed into a kid about ten years old, the same estimated age he'd been when One had found him. At least this time around, he was scrawny and a bit underfed, not starving and half-dead.
Still hated it though.
But life went on, and apparently so did the Convergences. And it looked like Little Love was their latest pick for a dumping ground.
He craned his neck to look up at the latest newcomer. "You're new. Just arrived or moving in from out of town?"
[January 11th - 31st: Little Love, Kansas (Normal Age)]
It felt good to be big enough to properly handle his magna blades again. Even with the shuriken constantly on his person, he'd felt naked.
Now that things were calming back down to their typical chaos, Six wandered the area to see what might need to be done to fully restore the weird status quo.
[January 14th: Alliance HQ and the surrounding area, Central City, Michigan (Nanite Checkup)]
Six adjusted his jacket. While he waited for the results of the tests to come back, he had plenty of time to kill. He might as well go out and about.
First order of business, coffee. He could put that gift card Prodigy had given him to good use.
Second, well, he'd just take in the local sights and browse the shops for anything he might need that Little Love didn't have.
[Wildcard]
Want to hit up Six but don't see anything that matches? Throw it my way!

January 3
"Ah, yeah, I am." she said, blinking. "You don't know how to get back to Konoha, do you?"
Today I learned that Konoha Village is a real place in Japan. Who knew?
He glanced back at the farmhouse the Alliance had assigned him before looking back up at her.
"This is going to sound crazy, but you've been pulled into a different world than the one you came from. Even if you took that flight, it's not likely to be the same Konoha Village you know."
Huh! Didn’t know that!
United States?
Another Earth?
“Are you… joking?” She asked, completely confused.
no subject
At least that'd mean he was in his normal body.
He turned towards the farmhouse and started to walk, glancing over his shoulder at her.
"Master always said it's easier to take bad news with a cup of tea. Might as well test that theory. Come on."
no subject
“Okay, that… that would be nice, yeah.” She said, just trying to make sense of everything.
“I’m just… I got through watching someone I care about almost die and come back and… it’s a lot.”
no subject
"What's your name?" he asked as he grabbed a spare chair to stand on for grabbing the kettle, filling it with water, and then putting it back on the stove.
no subject
“Sakura. Sakura Haruno.”
no subject
He maneuvered the chair around to grab the teapot and the tea leaves. Adding the hot water to the leaves to allow them to steep, he turned back to her.
"Welcome to this version of Earth. You came through one of the confluences, same as me. I've actually been here for a few months now."
no subject
“A confluence? That’s what that portal was?” She asked. “I was told something about… ‘super powers’ and ‘heroes’ and ‘guilds’ and… it’s all too much.”

January 14th
He's wearing clothes so he can move around mostly unnoticed, though it's definitely working in his favor that this shopping center is pretty crowded today. A hoodie with the hood up, pants, sneakers, and some aviators are all that stand between him blending in or being noticed as a green scaly inhuman guy.
He's also relying on anyone being too polite to note the hump from his shell. This is the Midwest after all.
Still, anyone looking close enough can certainly tell that something is up here.
no subject
Six wasn't trying to hide, simply moving with the crowd as he killed time. He paused at the sporting goods store window, studying the hunting knives currently on display. Not really his style, but if he was going to teach Sakura knife fighting, it'd be best to have a variety for her to practice with.
Out of the corner of his eye, he noted the stranger so covered up, the hump on his back. Meta, maybe? Well, he didn't seem to be looking to cause trouble.
Still, Six surreptitiously scanned the crowd. Trouble wouldn't necessarily come from the Meta themself given the amount of anti-Meta sentiment that was out there...

Leo is just taking a look at a shop window not far away when someone bumps into him, jostling him enough that the hood falls back, and now his bald, scaly head is fully visible.
And it doesn't take long for that to attract attention.
"Eugh boy..."
Leo pulls the hood back up quickly, but more than a few people are looking at him now. Maybe it's time to skedaddle, but he's not going to be moving too quick in this crowd...
no subject
Time to de-escalate the situation before things went wildly out of control.
Six nudged his way through the crowd, scowling at the obvious Meta. "I told you to stick close."
One of the crowd members asked hotly, "He's with you?"
"Yes." Six looked back over his shoulder at the source. "Is there a problem with that?"
The offender took a step back at Six's general aura of "push me and you will deeply regret it".
Mentally, Six prayed the kid was smart enough to play along.
no subject
So he scoots closer, smiling sheepishly.
"Sorry, boss-man. I got distracted."
He chuckles in a sort of, silly-me-I-always-do-this way. He doubts anyone would buy that they have any sort of familial or friendly relationship so he reaches for boss and subordinate. At least he's in the protective bubble of "step off" Six is emanating.
no subject
The crowd took that as their cue to part enough for Six to lead the turtle Meta away. There were perks to being the sixth most dangerous man on his version of Earth: one of which being the ability to turn up the "try me and I will end your entire existence" so even those who were typically deaf to such signals thought twice.
He said lowly, just loud enough for the Meta to hear without it carrying to anyone else, "You need to be more careful in Central. A lot of anti-Meta sentiment around here. Excelsior's not much better right now."
no subject
Well. Not too much.
At the man's words he frowns. He keeps his voice down too, when he speaks.
"Then why did those Alliance guys bring me here? And they have me put up in a hotel like some kind of tourist."
Maybe he should just escape through the nearest manhole cover. Problem is he doesn't know this sewer system like the one back home...
no subject
Six had been to Central fairly often during the past few months, so he knew a few good places to duck into for a bite to eat where the owners were at least Meta/Skyfallen-neutral. He led the way into one of them.
"You can put your hoodie down in here." He glanced back at the turtle. "The name's 'Six'."

January 14 Alliance HQ/ Wildcard...sort of
When he starts playing his old favorite game at Alliance HQ, it's with no real goal in mind. He's not snooping or looking for anything in particular. Just seeing how far he can get around the place with a loose excuse of "I'm thinking of joining" and a lot of chutzpah. So far, he's made it to the medical labs.
no subject
He was waiting impatiently in a biohazard room, glancing out the windows at the people passing by. He'd be cleared to leave in five minutes once the scans verified no stray nanites had gotten into the room. However, he got up from his seat and headed towards the window as he saw a kid wandering the halls who didn't appear to be injured.
"What're you doing in the medical ward?"
no subject
His age helped. He was just old enough to not be clocked as a kid at a glance, and just young enough to not be seen as too much of a potential threat. The prosthetic arms helped with that image, too. Even if he got caught, most people would have a softer response to him then if he was an adult, just so long as he stayed polite and didn't make himself into a problem.
When he hears someone call out to him from a room he'd been passing by, he knew it was game over. It wasn't the first person to call him out but it was the first person who'd gone out of their way to do it. Not a good sign for the game continuing past this point.
When he hears the voice, Danny gives a quick glance around, making sure he's the person in question. Seeing no one else the guy could possibly be addressing he walks up to the glass, making sure he'll be out of the way of foot traffic.
"I'm new. Was taking a look around but the place is like a maze. Know how I can get back to the main entrance from here?" It was a simple lie, but sweet and simple was best.
no subject
Yeah, no one could get so lost that they'd meander into a medical ward and still think they were heading in the right direction.
no subject
It's hard to hold back a smirk at that line, but he manages. It's impossible to hide his intrigue though. Giving the room a better look, it seems to be a biohazard room...interesting.
"Okay, you got me. I wanted to see how far I could get in this place before someone stopped me. Looks like I got this far." He probably could have come up with a better lie and went with that, but he got the feeling digging in like that with this guy, would only get him in more trouble than just telling the truth at this point.
no subject
Quite a few targets had met their Maker due to Six using such tactics to case a location.
There was a chime before an announcement came over the speaker in Six's room, the door unsealing itself. "Tests should be done in an hour or two. We're a little backed up here, but scans show no loose nanites. We'll call when we've got the latest results."
"Understood."
Six opened the door and stepped out, facing the kid.
no subject
"Here I thought I was doing a pretty good job'a that for not actually knowin' the layout. You're the first person to seriously clock me." Then again, he was probably a little rusty. It had been a while since he'd tried this kind of thing in any place other than a mall or a low-tier thug hideout. Standards for skating by unnoticed were a lot lower in those places.
When the speaker chimes to life, he goes still again while listening to the announcement, raising an eyebrow curiously at Six when he comes out and faces him.
"Nanites? Was there a problem with those around here recently?" Frankly 'loose nanites' made it sound like something other than a recent infection scare, especially in combination with him waiting on the results of some other kind of tests. But what else that could be exactly, he had no idea. This just felt like a safer question to go with.
no subject
"What gave you away was you saying you were new. Most people who are new and lost would immediately recognize a medical area and turn around if it wasn't where they'd been aiming to go. People have a natural aversion to being near the ill due to self-preservation. If you'd said you were looking for a doctor or a patient and asked for a particular area -- patient rooms, x-rays, etc. -- you would've sold it since you'd have a solid reason to willingly be in such a place."
He placed his hand in his pockets. "As for the nanites, unfortunately they came along for the ride when I was dragged here. There's a worldwide plague of them where I come from, so we're making sure mine don't spread it here."
Or that he didn't transform into a rampaging monster.
"The name's Six."
