[Sephiroth stumbles a little in turn, and then laughs.]

Is this how it's meant to be?

We're lucky we're still upright. Any other human would have fallen over.

[It takes a moment for his own words to sink in. They aren't human... Isn't that fine?]

We're quite fortunate that way.

[Sephiroth just looks at Loki for a moment, and then leans into him, unintentionally throwing them off balance.]

We are, aren't we?

[ loki keeps him upright with the grip to sephiroth's arm, as he leans back, shoulders pressed together. no space in between. ]

We are.

[He loses track of how to articulate his point. Loki will get it.]

[ loki chuckles, placing a finger to sephiroth's lips. ]

It's fine. I know. I see it in you.

[unkindled_madness]

[Sephiroth kisses the finger before he tugs Loki's hand down.]

You're my favorite.

[dothelokimotion]

[ oh. this time, due to the alcohol, his face is a riotous pink but his smile is like a sunflower, turning towards the sun. ]

[Sephiroth grins at that reaction.]

I got you again.

[ dfgfg. ]

That's not — Let's get back.

[unkindled_madness]

[He just laughs and pulls Loki along with him down the sidewalk as they make their not-remotely-straight way back towards his apartment.]

[ it's nice to see sephiroth laughing and loki finds himself drunkenly giggling along with him. ]

[unkindled_madness]

[And it's nice to see that in Loki in turn, to feel it even, with him so close. They stumble up the steps to his apartment and he fishes out his keys.]

[dothelokimotion]

Oh, I can do that.

[ loki wiggles his fingers and the lock opens. ]

[unkindled_madness]

[Sephiroth laughs.]

You could just invite yourself in at any time.

[dothelokimotion]

[ loki makes a shhh sound. ]

Don't tell anyone.

[unkindled_madness]

Oh, no. I would never.

[He taps a finger to his lips as he ushers Loki inside.]

[dothelokimotion]

Good.

[ when the door closes, he leans in to press a kiss to sephiroth's lips. ]

[unkindled_madness]

[Sephiroth makes a surprised but pleased noise into the kiss and lets his hands find purchase in Loki's clothing.]

[ loki slips his arms around sephiroth, pressing him up against the door as he deepens the kiss. he feels warm and giddy, like spinning on an axis but knowing he's safe if he stumbles. ]
