[OPEN] I wanna rock and roll all night
Who: Hitori Gotoh and YOU!
bocchitime
What: Playing guitar on a street corner.
When: Sometime after escaping from Arcadia.
Where: Sunset Falls.
Content Warnings: General moping and anxiety warning for Bocchi.
[Hitori is conflicted. On one hand, after almost three weeks in this strange new world, things seem to be... improving? A least a little bit.
On the other hand, that's only because they started on such an outrageously low note. She found herself isekai'd into a new world, attacked by carnivorous plants, pursued by guards and held pseudo-captive by some sort of fascist superhero. It was bad.
But now? Hitori's not in Arcadia anymore, and (thanks to a little help from Loki) she even has a place to stay in Sunset Falls. She should feel good about her situation, shouldn't she?
But she's still alone here, away from her friends and her parents. And she's still adrift, unsure of where to go or what to do or how to use these new powers she finds herself with.
It takes her a few days to actually do anything about this feeling, though. Her first instinct is (and always has been) to hole up in her apartment and hide from the world, and it takes some time for her to actually push past that instinct.
Eventually, she works up the nerve to go outside with her guitar. She sets herself up on a street corner in Sunset Falls - somewhere with a small amount of foot traffic but not too many people - and she starts to play.
Her guitar isn't plugged into anything, but that doesn't make a difference. Hitori knows how it should sound, and amplifies the sound waves herself. It isn't anything like the ear-piercing wail she made back in Arcadia - the strings on this guitar are just the tool she needs to get a handle on this new ability. For the first time since arriving in this terrifying new place, Bocchi feels like she actually has control over her powers]

Bocchi has managed to place herself along one of his routes to the library, and while it isn't his preferred style of music, he will stop to listen for a moment. His expression is placid, then takes on a touch of curiosity as his eyes drift over the guitar, noting the lack of cord.]

She lets out a startled squeak as she accidentally makes eye contact with Sephiroth.]
S-sorry, w-was I bothering you? A-am I in your way?
[Maybe it's his serious-looking expression, maybe it's just her anxiety, but she can't help but feel that she's somehow done something wrong to attract this particular stranger's attention.]

But he shakes his head calmly.]
Not at all.
I was curious: have you made some alteration to your instrument?

once she finishes, he does a slow clap. ]

The sound of Loki's clapping snaps her out of that focus, though. When she looks back, the calm expression of concentration completely disappears, and the stuttering nervous girl he knows shows her face again.]
O-oh! Th-thank you... [She isn't sure how to speak to Loki now that she knows he's the mayor of this town. Do you bow to mayors?? Maybe she should have looked this kind of thing up before having the gall to walk outside her apartment.] U-um, I hope i-it's okay to play here. I-I'm not in trouble, a-am I?

[ loki please. ]
I didn't think mortals still performed in this manner.
no subject
[Mortals?? Even thinking about how to respond to that part just stresses her out, so she'll just... let it slide on by.]
W-well, I-I usually play with a band, b-but none of them came here with me. Th-this kind of music is p-pretty popular where I come from, though.

[ like beyonce. lady gaga. leave him alone. ]
Do you perform then?
