[There may be some changes to the timeline now but Descendant Karaoke Bar and Lounge is still open for business. There are always people looking to have a good time drinking and blowing off some steam with a good song. It doesn’t matter if they’re ordinary civilians or some of Central City’s more... colorful characters. Just be nice to the bouncers and check your weapons by the entrance first.

To reflect the fall season, Descendant has included seasonal drinks like pumpkin beer, apple cocktails, and spiced maple bourbon.

Meanwhile, some of this month's most popular songs seem to be reflecting Halloween, such as Highway to Hell and Monsters. Or maybe you want to do a more classy number like Witchcraft? Descendant looks like a speakeasy after all. And in a total coincidence, Time Warp has also shown up on the popularity chart.

If you drop by at Descendant on a Coyote Ugly Night, you’ll find the atmosphere considerably wilder and wetter. You might’ve even already seen some of the social media posts and videos of the employees performing. They certainly look like they’re having a good time.

Perhaps you’re coming in during a more normal time. Come by for a drink. Maybe rent a private karaoke room or karaoke on stage in front of others if you’re feeling brave. There are some bar games around too.

You can always just people watch as well. Those who are especially observant might notice that some of Descendant’s customers are a bit... furtive as they keep their heads low or quickly scurry to one of the private rooms.

There’s always the reading room too for those who want a more quiet ambiance.

And then there's the very select few who are allowed upstairs in the attic apartment.

Whatever the case may be, Jason will be around. As Descendant’s owner, he’s a busy guy with plenty he has to do]

"And make everyone here jealous enough to try and get your attention with bigger tips once you come back out?" She's on to you Grayson. "Of course."

She follows grabbing a second bottle. He may have grabbed a bottle of water, but he hasn't had a break in a little while, so he is going to sit down and drink both of them.

Dick makes a face at her when she drops a second bottle next to his elbow as he sits down, but he doesn't say no. He's been dancing a lot tonight, after all, and he does probably need it tonight.

"How could I ever say no to having you around, though?" he asks, the charming smile only half-hearted. It's Babs, but it's a different Babs. So he's still figuring out where his footing is with her. "Though if it gets extra tips to share out tonight, it also can't hurt."

Ever an optimist, Barbara has taken to treating all of them as she would the ones at home. It's strange but familiar even with the differences.

It's harder with him and the younger Dick, however. There's a lot to unpack in the way they both react to her. She understands why it has to feel weird for the younger one. She just hasn't worked out what's different with this one yet.

"You still owe me dinner mister," she takes a seat, leans forward and points a finger at him. "Don't think I've forgotten."

That gets both hands up and a brighter laugh as Dick mock-surrenders. "I didn't forget! We just close too late for going out." He leans forward against the table, pointing his water bottle back to her. "Tell you what. There's a couple of decent food trucks around here that are still serving food late. How about I make a down payment, then take you out properly tomorrow?"

"I didn't mean right now. I'm perfectly fine waiting until there's a break. Or something resembling a less frantic moment." She sits shaking her head. Food truck dinner is about as normal as they can hope for.

"So late night tacos it is."

"I meant after we close, anyway." But it's about right, honestly. Late night food trucks were staples for all of them. The ones in 'Haven gave him a discount, even.

"I can go for tacos. I don't think there's a pizza truck nearby. Kinda missing the one from 'Haven right about now."

"Very few good substitutes for food from home. I've come close to Big Belly's Chocorrific, but's not quite the same." Of course, nothing would even come close to Alfred's dinners or the meals they have managed to make on their own as a team.

"Not what you expect to miss when you travel to whole other worlds." Then again, she's read back over everything she can get her hands on, so she knows Tim, Jason, and Dick have been there for some time.

"I have actually found a decent bagel place." Which is a big thing in Michigan, as far as a bunch of people from Jersey are concerned. "I'm still looking for the right cereal, so I'll have to pick your brain on that one."

At least she hasn't actually mentioned Alfred. His reaction is better these days, but not entirely. "I've definitely not done a lot of travelling to whole other worlds. At least when I had to leave Earth back home, I had enough warning to get supplies in."

"Sounds like it's time to buy a bunch of those little boxes and have a tasting party. Do we invite the others or just pass off the bad boxes to them?"

They have plenty of time to discuss the differences in their lives --the dead, the living, and anything else that's going to make their world seem real to each other. For now, they can cover the things easier to tease about.

"I'm living with a teenager. I promise you, they'll get eaten. And, if they don't, somehow? There's the attic safehouse, where I'm sure somebody would eat them." Dick knows far too well that most teenagers will eat whatever they can get their hands on, as long as they aren't allergic. Tim's not that much different, really.

"That said. We can absolutely invite the others. It'd be an interesting family activity. And one less likely to get the Jasons to try to kill each other."
