He didn't actually mean to let that slip as a piece of information they could pounce on, but of course they did. That's the problem with having Robins for older brothers. "He attacked us. I think - he's probably being controlled."

Because he can't think of any other reason for Jaime to suddenly turn on them like that.

Jason’s still frowning when Tim elaborates. He doesn’t personally know Blue Beetle but he’s only heard good things about him. Or rather, Ted Kord he’s aware of.

“While you were all up in space on a mission?” He asks.

TJ was more of the Ted Kord fan in the family, but Dick had always liked him, too.

Of course, TJ was also the one who knew Jaime better, as well.

"I'm guessing it has something to do with the Scarab?" Ted had never been able to use it, not the way Dan Garrett had, at least. And Jaime had outdone both of them. "That could definitely explain being in space."

He gets Tim settled before starting on getting his boots off. "I'll admit, I don't know Jaime that well. He's been part of the Titans back home, but he spends most of his time in El Paso and seems pretty content with doing the hero thing there."

Seeing as how it kind of hurts to think about it. Metaphorically and literally.

“That’s fine. A lot of shit happened already,” Jason says. Though truthfully he hopes Tim will properly unpack what happened as opposed to just suppressing it and pretending he’s fine.

Jason then walks over to the closet to get pillows and a comforter for Tim.

“We’re all here for you and want to help.”

One of these days, Dick may have to break down and see if there are therapists that work mostly with the Starfallen population. Though trusting them would be a hard sell for...any member of the family.

Thoughts for another day.

Dick nods, getting off Tim's boots. "No need to go into it now, I shouldn't have asked." Because Tim's already having to sort through a lot, mentally. Dick knows he shouldn't ask for more. "But if you ever want to talk about it, we're here to listen and help. All of us."

It might be that Tim would trust TJ more with this sort of thing. Which would be understandable. But Dick's more about making certain Tim knows that he can come to any of them.
