"Not surprised there," Donnie says, with maybe just the tiniest snort. "...it was kind of fun though. Which...I know is kind of reckless to say, looking at things in hindsight." He could have gotten a lot more injured, especially given that Red Hood hadn't recognized who he was. From Donnie's standpoint, he knew who he was fighting and conveniently forgotten that it possibly wasn't vice-versa until that shot rang out.
