[ it was a long trek to get where they needed to go. there were more tourist-traveled paths. safer ones. but this one comes from memories long past so loki let his feet guide him to where they needed to be. it's strange. the land has changed, the people has changed and yet, it feels no different, even on this unknown earth.

perhaps that is simply the nature of gods. their stories tie them everywhere.

he glances at sephiroth. ]

[ his expression softens at that. ]

[ he glances at his hands. the hands he hated for so long. ]

[Sephiroth looks down, reaches to twine his fingers with Loki's. His own hands don't look any more human, and that was something that used to frighten him. Stepping any farther from that, into the unknown.]

[ quietly, he tugs sephiroth's hand up so he can kiss his knuckles. ]

We do walk side-by-side. My husband.

We discover everything new about ourselves together now.
