It's barbeque season in Little Love! It's also alien season, but enough about that.

This is an open event, so please feel free to make your own top-level based on whatever!

Eddie will be around cooking and chatting. You're more than welcome to explore the ranch and the surrounding areas on your own. Just be kind to the animals, or Venom will escort you out and it will be aggressive.

Activities of the night include cooking, eating, horseback riding, braiding the horses' manes, roasting marshmallows, sparklers, enjoying music, sharing scary stories, going for a swim in the adjacent lake, and, of course, being visited by aliens at some point in the night.

( but you will have to worry about seeing his pale, scrawny chicken legs because he routinely skips out on leg day, and maybe that's worse than a shark. )

[this is said so utterly blankly, with all the inherent "I'm totally an adult now, with a driving license and everything" energy a nineteen year old with a blatant disregard for the law can possess.

Toxic waste? You think they're dumping toxic waste in mid-Western lakes? ...That's a story. It's also really, really terrible. Environmental pollution takes forever to clean up, you know? It causes centuries of lasting damage.

( eddie, no one came to the barbecue to hear you get sad about the planet. and if his thoughts weren't enough to remind him of that, venom sure does by yanking off his pants and giving him a shove towards the waterfront. )

( what was eddie doing at nineteen? probably worse things than going for a swim post-barbecue with a superhero. definitely worse things than that. )

You're right about it taking years to clean up, though...even if they started right away, maybe there would still have been effects today. I don't know. There'd be a lot less debris in the ocean, at least...

Yeah? I used to dumpster dive back in my day, too.

( not that he'd be above doing it again now, but he doesn't have much of a reason for it as he got older and more 'established'. it's a pretty loose use of the word, but he's stopped having to fish out of dumpsters to make ends meet, and that feels like a glow up.

okay yusei's naked, and eddie's naked, and venom is just sort of always naked. so they're all in good company. eddie doesn't need to feel any sort of way about yeeting the last of his clothes, and his dignity, before being forcibly tossed in the water by his alien bestie. )

I build vehicles. Back home, I built D-Wheels - that's a kind of motorcycle that was popular there.

But I'm good with most things that require an engine.
