( would you know more? )I. the afterlife [It's the sort of thing he should know by now to avoid. Unfortunately, knowing he shouldn't do something never really stops him. Loki is curious, he always is, and he thinks this time he can handle it. If he doesn't, then this flicker of another self could disappear and hurt people! That's why he has to investigate them first, rather than reaching out to his other other selves or Stephen.
With those thoughts in mind, Loki approaches the other boy, who looks more like him than any of the others have. The only difference is really their clothes and their presence, the other one dressed like an actual Midgardian, not a god's idea of one. Loki reaches out and...
... falls into this phantom realm, with the Midgardian boy taking his place. If someone else is nearby and manages to fall in with him, they'll soon find themself in a child's room. It's filled with action figures and stuffed animals, board games and TTRPG sourcebooks. Loki picks up a plush bird, looking from it to his companion.]Do you still have your wits about you? That's one thing to be thankful for, I suppose.
[And then to the plushie] If you're stuck like this again, Ikol, I do apologize.
II. sunset falls[Meanwhile Luke is having the best time ever! He's actually a god? For real? While he would've preferred to switch places with Wolverine, this is still pretty cool. He spends his first few moments in this strange new world going through Loki's phone, trying to gather as much information as possible. If he's going to play this role, he's going to play it well! And this is the closest thing to a character sheet that he's got.
Aside from being glued to his phone, he can be seen practicing magic wherever he can, sometimes succeeding, sometimes not. He waves a fallen tree branch as if it's a staff and yells,]I say thee nay!
[Obviously powers work by saying cool things and catchphrases. When a burst of green energy actually comes forth and destroys a nearby lamppost, he's quick to drop the branch and try to get away.
If someone is obviously a superhero or villain, especially those from 616 or resembling them, Luke will run up to them excitedly.]
Hail and well met, fellow hero! Tis I, Loki of Asgard! How fare thee?
