What: It's their friendiversary! Smoochiversary? They've been Something for a year.

[Things have been a little shaky between them of late, but as they promised at the start, they are working to mend it. This relationship, whatever anyone might want to call it, has lasted a full year. It's an achievement that Sephiroth would not have thought himself capable of... connecting with someone, and holding onto that connection.

That seems worthy of acknowledgement, even celebration. Perhaps especially because of Loki's recent doubts, Sephiroth has taken it upon himself to create a memorable evening.

Or at least try to? He does not have Loki's dramatic flair. He does, however, arrive at Loki's door with a bouquet he chose himself after researching flower meanings, because research he can do.]

[ loki smirks and presses a light kiss to his nose before alighting from the bed. it's been a while since he's played at being coy. his movements are slow, yet deliberate in the way he slides his shirt off his shoulders, inch by inch, all the way fixing his gaze on sephiroth. ]

[This... is not quite what he was expecting, but Sephiroth props himself up on an elbow to watch, taking mental notes. So this appeals to Loki...]

[ well, it's all about leveraging your appeal and loki always wants to seem appealing. or at least, appealed to. the shirt slides off slowly before he drops it onto the floor. ]

So, I move too quickly then?

[dothelokimotion]

[ he slides back into bed with sephiroth. ]

It's about drawing out the yearning, the desire. Though I do like it when you move quickly.

[ because that too is an expression of honest desire, to want it so badly you can't wait. ]

...I don't know that I feel it the same way you do. I desire... the expression.

[He doesn't want Loki any more or less from watching him.]

[ that makes him smile. ]

[He runs a hand over Loki's bare shoulder.]

There is something of an art to it, I suppose.

[ he shivers with pleasure. ]

Mm. It's just a technique.

[Sephiroth favors Loki's shoulder with a kiss as well before he sits up, slowly undoing the last few buttons of his shirt and then mimicking the way Loki slid his off his shoulders.]

[ oh. loki's pupils go dark with pleasure, watching the movements intently. ]

[He peels the shirt off and lets it drop onto the floor.]

...how was that?

[dothelokimotion]

[ loki smiles, leaning to kiss him slowly, his shoulders rolling at the movement. ]

Perfect.

I may not know these things, but I am a quick learner.

[ he chuckles. ]

I do recall that.

[ he presses another kiss to his lips, soft and sweet. ]

Be whoever you want to be and I'll love you anyway.

[ the corners of his eyes crinkle at that. ]

I'm glad.

I appreciate your patience, however.

...with how slowly I move in other ways.

[ his expression softens. ]

You do not move slowly. You move at your own pace. And that's fine.

I would understand if you found it frustrating.

[ loki contemplates this for a moment before he lets out a quiet sigh. ]

I was scared. So many people have left and I wasn't sure how much time we had. I'm still not sure.

. . . Angela is gone.

[unkindled_madness]

[Oh. That's so many losses for Loki in such a short time.]

...I'm sorry.

[He reaches for Loki's hand.]

I'm still here.

[dothelokimotion]

[ he lays a silent kiss on sephiroth's knuckles before pressing them against his forehead. ]

I know but I can't shake it off.
