[ roy motions for him to go first. ]

Oh, yea. [ once they're on the move, he quickly falls into a relaxed pace beside him. ] I'm Orchard. [ he extends his hand out towards him. ] What's your name?

( doing just that, when the pleasantries start, he stares down to the extended and gently takes it within his own. despite the gentle motion, the grip is rather firm. )

( he eyes him and then there's a huff of just the faintest bit of laughter as he looks ahead. )

Orchard, huh? First name, Apple?

[ he respects someone who's socially awkward, yet can deliver a firm handshake. it's got character to it.

roy lets out a genuine laugh. ] No. [ he shakes his head with a smile. ] First name, Orchard. Last name, Greenwood.

( typically keeping his gaze ahead, he throws a glance roy's way when he goes to clarify that. )

Middle name, Woodland, then. Right.

Man, Orchard Woodland Greenwood. I don't know how I would've survived for this long if I had that as my middle name too.

[ that's a no to woodland, but it's evident the suggestion amuses him. ]

So, have you lived here for long?

[ he doesn't plan to stay in central city for long. ]
