[OPEN] All eyes on me in the center of the ring~
Who: Jason Todd
robintohood, Dick Grayson
forceforlight and you!
What: Coyote Ugly Nights at Descendant Karaoke Bar and Lounge and a wildcard prompt
When: Throughout July
Where: Central City
Content Warnings: N/A for now. Will edit if something comes up.
[Given all the wild events that have happened in Central City over the last few months, business hasn't been the greatest for Descendant Karaoke Bar and Lounge. The place isn't going to close anytime soon but it's hard for some people to be in the mood to drink and do off-key karaoke when there's been a parasite invasion, the Society's takeover of the city, and the Alliance’s divisive actions. Arcadia's guards being all over the city, including at Descendant, certainly isn't making things better either.
While Jason and others have been doing their best to get rid of the guards in various ways (with some ways being more aggressive than others), there's only so much they can do without drawing even more unwanted attention to the place.
So after some private discussions between Jason and Dick and then some staff meetings to work out more details, Descendant Karaoke Bar and Lounge is trying something new to rake in more money. For a few weeks these events get advertised under all of Descendant's social media accounts.
This month, if you come visit during certain evenings, you'll immediately see how drastically different these events are from Descendant's usual speakeasy-esque ambiance.
The more energetic songs from Descendant's playlist are getting more play and at louder volumes. There are also a few other songs to further spice things up like Work This Body, Rain On Me, and Can't Fight the Moonlight. Extra bouncers are posted to maintain the "look but no touching the employees" rule. The crowd's pumped up and much of their attention is directed at the bartenders.
Jason and Dick are in tight pants and tight wet t-shirts that blatantly show off their well-toned figures. They're performing flashy bar tricks as they serve up drinks. Water keeps getting sprayed on them. Sometimes they dance on the bar. Sometimes they lightly roast customers. It's all in good fun. And of course, there's a big tip jar in the middle of the bar.
Some of the other employees are also dressed in tight outfits and take turns performing. But it's clear much of the attention goes to Jason and Dick.
Welcome to one of Descendant's hopefully many Coyote Ugly Nights. The staff hope you enjoy yourself.]
Wildcard (Can be used if you would like to tag me OR Comics!Dick’s player!):

Batcow.
no subject
[He's so used to it it's not even weird.]
no subject
[Jason almost can't believe he has to ask that question]
no subject
no subject
Weird. Seems like she would better fit in Smallville than in Gotham.
no subject
[Duke chuckled then.]
Not like we couldn't make room for her.

You know we're not gonna eat Bat-Cow right? She's Alfred's best friend and Damian would stab us all in our sleep first.
no subject
Fine. No Bat-Burgers then. But only because of Alfred.
no subject
No one says no to Alfred. [Either of them.]
I'm sure we can get some ethically farm raised beef somewhere else.

[Jason then shifts to another topic that he's been wondering about Duke]
So why the Signal?
no subject
B gave me that name. Told him I wouldn't be a Robin and he had to come up with something else. Didn't get it first myself, would have thought it was a joke if it wasn't for the fact he's terrible at them...but I kind of get it now. Maybe. Signals can mean a lot of things, but usually it's about guiding people.
no subject
So you wanted the day shift?
[The question is asked in genuine curiosity, not making fun of Duke]
no subject
Kind of worked with the daytime shift, too. I kind of fell into it and figured it was where I was needed most. Can't trust the cops to do their jobs right half the time so someone else needs to be doing it.
no subject
You got that right. And it doesn't matter what time of the day it is. It's safe to say nights are covered at this point.
So you always had powers then? And not just because of the Confluence?
no subject
[Now he's a bit more awkward. It's always hard to talk about his powers with the family. Luke told him he shouldn't limit himself, but... It's different when you're trying to belong.
He may have told Nico he had another family, but he knows that family may as well not exist.]
