[ he takes stormbreaker to the park to train. there's always something around but it's unlikely that people will be there. he sets stormbreaker on the ground for a moment, pensive.

why had thor left his axe here? to protect loki? to make up for his failings?

he wonders why thor never asked him to go back to their world. their reality. loki would have refused, of course. there's nothing back there for him anymore and he chose sephiroth. but . . . thor should have asked. he should have wanted loki back, shouldn't he?

why didn't he want loki back?

korg had said, you don't understand how much thor needed you, but it was clearly a lie. a falsehood to soothe loki's anger. he pushes it aside and places his hand on stormbreaker. for a moment, he can feel it. the crackle of lightning, the call of thunder. but what actually happens is stormbreaker lets out a shockwave, knocking loki flat and anyone else nearby. ]
