( because he's pretty sure that's what dick is doing, here. jason shrugs his shoulders to try and knock the hands off of them, but doesn't step away from it. bruce does this to him sometimes, gets down on his level, talks to him. dick he's met--briefly. dick's the guy who wore his costume before him, and it doesn't matter how much is different or how much older he is, jason doesn't want him treating him like a child.
he's robin, and robin doesn't need that from anyone. especially not the guy he's supposed to be taking over for. )
