[ Dylan doesn't know the gritty details of what goes on between this Jason and the one he lives with, but he's long since figured out that they're not fond of each other. Admittedly, he wants to know why, but knows better than to bring it up.

Together, the group had managed to craft a crude spit over the campfire, and Dylan's on rotisserie duty tonight while it cooks. The smell of roast Mutant Lizard Tail wafts through the air. It probably wouldn't have been very appetizing last month, but hunger is the best seasoning. ]

Got a preferred gouging weapon in mind or are you just gonna improvise when you get there?

I prefer to improvise. Keeps things from getting too boring.

( but he does raise the knife he's got in hand, flips the blade around so he's got the hilt out towards dylan, blade pressing against the underside of his forearm. it's sharp enough that without the fabric separating them, it'd probably be pressing in just deep enough to draw blood. it's curved on one side, straight on the other. )

This one's a 119. 420HC steel, well-balanced. Doesn't hold a sharp edge as long as spendier blades might, but it's easy enough to sharpen. It'd work great for gouging.

[ Dylan can tell the knife is being offered and gingerly accepts it, looking it over as Jason describes it. He holds up his free hand next to the blade, letting his fingers turn oozy and black before his hand shapeshifts into a glossy black copy of the blade. ]

I'll have to keep that in mind if I get within gouging distance.

I'd tell you to leave the gouging for the adults, but I know how well that'd go over.
