[ sunset falls knows how to celebrate.

loki hadn't been around for this one. not that he minds it much now. it is amusing to see how decked out everything is. from magical cookies to hearts nailed onto trees. truly this is the best town in america. he does pause to admire the handiwork (and makes a note to follow that up later. he really doesn't want another cult running amuck in his town).

at any rate, loki thought it might be fun for both of them to see what the festival is all about. he squeezes sephiroth's arm. ]

But Thor can adapt quickly.

Thor is smarter than he looks.

[ in a way, thor's adaptability stems from a different place than his parents and loki. while they are deceptive, thor knows how to downplay and work that to his advantage. ]

I don't care to give him credit for things I haven't witnessed.

[ loki lapses into silence. he probably shouldn't have let the topic drift to thor. with the wedding so close and thor not here, loki feels the absence more strongly. ]
